JMazza is an American Designer & Artist who has been creating art at his full-time desk jobs for over fifteen years, on Post-It notes, notepads and napkins. He has shown works at museums and galleries throughout New York, Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. In 2013 The Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art selected his work for 'New Waves', a juried exhibition showcasing a select few up-and-coming Artists in the state of Virginia. In 2014, he moved to Raleigh NC and started his software design company, juiux.com. In 2021, he moved to St. Petersburg FL, where he currently resides.

More About The Artist
Joseph Anthony Mazza is a User Experience Designer, Product Innovator, and Software Engineer with over forty thousand hours as a professional Creator and Product Developer. He has shown in exhibitions at major art museums and local galleries in New York, Virginia and North Carolina, including multiple times at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art in Virginia Beach and Artspace in downtown Raleigh. He has over fifty thousand hours of drawing practice and experience with a multitude of drawing tools, stemming from his BFA in Graphic Design and a lifetime of drawing experience.
Educated in the Fine Arts & Philosophy, influenced by comic books, video games and pop art, with both analog and digital upbringing, and decades of steady work as an Visual Engineer, Joseph's work is timely, fun and completely original. Drawings created by JMazza during this period reflect his work within the Army, viewing burtal images of war and human combat, often with deceased and mangled victims. THis can be seen in his figure drawings form the time, visiting a 'Sunday morning Art group, where they would draw a nude model. because of this job, JMazza started seeing and draiwng the human body much differently than everyone else in class.
